Testimonials:
TechVenue.com
is honored to serve several focused groups with its content. First of all,
event seekers - simplifying the task of finding the event(s) and organizations that meet your individual needs.
Secondly,
event producer/coordinators - to simplify
the task of getting the word out to an
audience that is
interested in what you have to offer the community. This
can be done on an event by event basis, for multi-city "roadshows" or
other arrangements where volume discounts apply.
Thirdly,
more formal business arrangements for
online and print media
outlets that need real-time updated event listings for their
own use and distribution - facilitating accuracy and time saved
from tracking events internally.

Dear David,
I wanted let you know that TechVenue's calendar posting
and promotional services were helpful in getting the
word out about the Midwest Venture Summit (MVS) 2004.
As a member of the planning
committee for the MVS, I was in charge of attracting
attendees and media coverage prior to the event. For a
small fee, Tech Venue was successful in securing local
calendar listings and attracting attendees through the
TechVenue Calendar and email alerts. We had record
attendance at the MVS 2004 and TechVenue was an
important part of our marketing mix.
Additionally, on a personal
level, I have also found the TechVenue Calendar valuable
for learning about other important events in Chicago
that I may want to attend. The information is thorough
and informational. Thank you for providing your service
to our community. |

Dear David,
Just a short note to let you know how much influence TechVenue's calendar
postings have had on our meeting attendance.
As Senior Investment Advisor for JETRO Chicago, I help coordinate our
monthly Executive Briefing breakfasts, often co-sponsored by the
Chicagoland Electronic Commerce Initiative (CECI). Our attendance has
steadily increased over the months, with approximately 10% new people
showing up at each meeting. Invariably, these new people respond that they
learned about the meeting from our posting in TechVenue.
In my view, no tech meeting's promotional effort is complete without
TechVenue. Thank you for doing a great service for our Chicagoland tech
community!
Sincerely,
Joanne F. Gucwa

"...Thanks for your assistance,
TechVenue is great!
it helps me select the events I would like to invest my time and attend. As well as offers a great method of reaching the area local professionals who would be interested in attending networking meeting sponsored by organizations like
WITI..."
"...Thanks for your prompt attention. You're welcome to use the quote. I think you have done great things with TechVenue and it has in turn done great things for others and will continue to be a
'networlders'
calendar."
Best to you,
Betty Davey
"Since our networking
group has been listed on TechVenue.com, our guest count each week is
consistently higher than it's been in the 5 years I've been in the
group. At least 60% of all guests appear to have found us through TechVenue.com. We think these are pretty
good numbers. Thanks for being such a
great resource and
helping us meet new contacts and expand our network."

Hi David,
Any way we can pull down the calendar listing for this event?
Seems we have a much bigger response than we can hold now. Please
let me know. Thanks!!

EVENT
SEEKERS:
"I wanted to let you know how useful TechVenue.com has been for me. I
check it weekly to keep informed of useful industry events to attend. Last week, after a busy morning, I headed Downtown on the train
from the Western Suburbs to attend the CSA Partnering 2002 event.
I walked out of Union Station, jumped in a cab, and reached in my pocket
for the printout page with the event address, and realized in my rush, I
had left it at the office along with my cell phone.
I had to tell the driver something, and I thought for a moment. I told
him to take me to the Kinko's a couple of blocks away, and asked him to
wait outside. I knew that if I could get on the Internet for a minute I
could go to your site and get the address of the event. It took about a
minute, and cost me 67 cents on my credit card, and an extra dollar on the
meter, but I was on my way in a flash.
At the event, one of the presenters and another of the exhibitors happened
to both be prior students of mine at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
I was really glad I made it to the event in time to see them.
I just thought you would appreciate how useful your site has been to me -
even in a pinch."

Hello David,
I, like many, was affected by the drop in the economy and the
tech sector and just recently have gotten a job in the field
again. I can’t believe how big your site has gotten. I knew it
was a great tool and I recommended it right away for an event
here at the new company. Anyway, don’t know if you’ll remember
me from the old days but just wanted to send some kind
congratulatory words on the growth of your Web site.

David,
I am using it (TechVenue.com) because it is well presented,
informative, accurate and easy to use. I assume many have
congratulated you on this but please add mine to the list. I
think it's one of the most useful things I have seen
recently...Please feel free to place the reference on the
testimonial page.
Actually I really don't have any criticism at this time as I
believe your approach seems to anticipate the users needs VERY
well.
As I am on the look out for well designed sites to use as
examples in our exchanges ( informal gatherings we have for
cxo's) I will ensure we use yours in the next one, if that is ok
with you. Also I will set some of the folks I know that loathe
technology on it to see what they come up with...

Shaun McNicholas of
PSM Design:
”This is by far the most attractive and yet functional web
design we have done so far. Based on a high tech theme, the
challenge was to make the best navigation system we have seen so
far on the internet; as well as creating a link to the most in
depth and functional calendar system on the web.
David Flint, Founder/President of TechVenue.com, has done an
amazing job of creating a fully functional PR and Promotions
system by which professionals, decision-makers, and, for
example, whole IT companys can plan and keep informed of the
changes and trends of technology in the industry, both locally
and globally.
We have yet to find a system that comes even close to what
TechVenue.com has created here. With links to maps and
synchronization capability with your own calendar system that
can be used to sync with your Outlook calendar,
Handheld/Palm/PDA, or wireless device, TechVenue's system is a
step above any system we have seen on and off the web.”
"This site has become invaluable to me, I'm glad you are out there. You are truly examples of what
our industry needs!"
- James Hagersil
"Rarely do I enjoy a Website like this one! Thank you for the important contribution to the tech community."
- Linda
"I like this site! I've been looking around recently for sites that
will help me figure out the landscape of events and organizations
in my area. Thanks!"

Your weekly listing of key technology-oriented meetings and
