JAMstack Boston & BostonJS Presentation Night!

Hi JAMsters! Our next JAMstack Boston Meetup will take place on Tues, October 15th at 6 p.m.! This month we are collaborating with the BostonJS Meetup ( with two scheduled presenters! The first presenter, Evan Weaver, will take us on a journey through the history of the internet to understand the need for JAMstack apps and will show us why now is the time to revolutionize the way we access data. Evan (@Evan) is the CEO at Fauna (@Fauna) and was formerly the Director of Infrastructure at Twitter, where he was employee 15. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science and previously worked at CNET and SAP. Our second presenter, Vinay Raghu, will demonstrate how to abstract different data sources from the rest of your website using Gatsby. With Gatsby's GraphQL integration and plugins, it's easy to combine data from multiple sources during the build step of your website. In Vinay's talk, we will look at fetching data from multiple sources including a headless CMS, the file system as well as parsing static JSON or YAML data to power your website.
