Today it’s more important than ever to think about designing for accessibility in the e-commerce world. Join us and other digital creators in the Greater Boston community for two amazing presentations on accessibility as well as refreshments and networking with your peers.

- 5:30 p.m.: Doors open
- 6:00 p.m. - Welcome and Intros
- 6:15-7:30 p.m.: Presentations / Q&A
- 7:30 p.m.: Food/drinks and Networking begins

Presentation #1
- Accessibility Design Pledge and how we utilize technologies for accessibility.
Sunish Gupta, founder and CEO of EasyAlliance, will start off the evening discussing the importance of making a committment to designing for accessibility and how we can leverage current technologies to accomplish this.

Presentation #2
- Built In, Not Bolted On: How A11y Fits Into The Product Development Cycle.
Sophia Morgan, Product Manager at Chewy, and Erich Manser, Accessibility in Design Squad Leader at IBM, are going to talk to us about how accessibility fits into the product lifecycle.

About Our Speakers:
Sunish Gupta
Sunish Gupta is an Accessibility and User Experience professional with more than 20 years of experience in the industry with three professional degrees. The most recent academic credentials are from MIT’s System Design and Management program and Harvard Business School, completed in 2012. He recently established Easy Alliance, an MIT startup, to redefine accessibility implementation for easier evaluation and agile integration with usability in organizations of all types and sizes. At Easy Alliance, he pioneered the novel AxMax Evaluation system to monitor and measure AX and compliance level

Sophia Morgan
Sophia Morgan is currently a Product Manager at Chewy, where she works with Agile product development teams to create accessible customer experiences and bake accessibility into functional processes. In her free time, she loves dancing, exploring Boston, and volunteering with local organizations such as the Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired and the MBTA's Riders’ Transportation Accessibility Group.

Erich Manser
Erich Manser lives in Littleton, MA with his wife Lisa and daughters Ellie and Grace. He works at IBM, and is part of IBM Accessibility, the team which ensures accessible solutions, finds new approaches to access technology, and contributes to global standards. Erich is an avid marathon runner and triathlete, and last October he competed in the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, which consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and full 26.2 mile marathon.

Enter through the Dartmouth St plaza side entrance near Neiman Marcus and the Salty Pig

Go up the first set of escalators directly in front of you and continue up the next set of escalators. Michael Kors will be on left and Louis Vuitton on your right

Walk straight ahead and turn left down the corridor next to JC Smoothie, go up the set of escalators on your right (in front of the entrance to Barney’s New York), or take the elevators (located to the right of Sunglasses Hut to the SK level).

The mall security desk will be directly in front of you. You will check in with them first. You must bring a valid form of picture ID.

The check-in table for the event will be just inside of the Wayfair office turnstyles. In order to respect our presenters time, if you arrive after 6 pm, you may not be allowed entry.
