Digital Twins for Semiconductors

REGISTER HERE: SEAT IS NOT GUARANTEED WITHOUT COMPLETING BOTH STEPS OF THE REGISTRATION PROCESS (MEETUP RSVP + GOOGLE FORM) ABSTRACTThe semiconductor industry is advancing in its journey of digital transformation, and digital twins are beginning to create the intelligence for optimizing engineering and operations throughout the semiconductor value chain. As virtual counterparts to the complex processes and assets that support product lifecycles, digital twins are deployed to help companies to attain higher levels of performance, greater efficiencies, and faster innovation cycles in semiconductor development. Enabled by cloud and edge technologies, pervasive data connectivity, artificial intelligence and data-augmented simulation, digital twins drive end-to-end engineering optimization and achieve deeper levels of integration both within and throughout design and operations. SPEAKERS Prith Banerjee, CTO, ANSYS Prith Banerjee is the Chief Technology Officer of ANSYS where he is responsible for leading the evolution of ANSYS’ Technology strategy and champion the company’s next phase of innovation and growth He also serves on the Board of Directors of Cray, Inc. and Cubic Corporation. Previously he used to be Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry. Formerly, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of Schneider Electric. Mallik Tatipamula, CTO\, Ericsson Silicon ValleyDr. Mallik Tatipamula is a senior technology executive experienced in building, scaling teams and businesses in the areas of 5G, IoT, AI/ML, Security, SDN/NFV & cloud technologies, across enterprise, data center, and telecom/service provider segments. Currently, Dr. Mallik is responsible for innovation, incubation, technology direction & leadership efforts focusing on 5G, distributed cloud/edge compute, SDN/NFV, AI/ML and Internet of Things (IoT). Professor Gianluca Iaccarino, StanfordGianluca Iaccarino is a professor in Mechanical Engineering and Director of the Institute for Computational Mathematical Engineering at Stanford University. Since 2014, he is the Director of the PSAAP Center at Stanford, funded by the US Department of Energy. In 2010, he received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers award from President Obama, for his work on uncertainty quantification in computational science. Professor Karthik Duraisamy, University of Michigan & Co-founder of GeminusKarthik Duraisamy is an Associate Professor of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Michigan (UM), Ann Arbor. At UM, he is the Directorof the Center for Data-driven Computational Physics, and the Air force center of excellence on Rocket combustor Dynamics. He is also a founder and chief scientist of the Palo Alto-based startup Geminus.AI, which is focused on developing process-centric digital twins for industrial applications.
