Tech in Motion Events is always working towards creating innovating networking events for you. We are broad by design, the goal of this group is to be interactive and allow technology enthusiasts to learn from other professionals, have questions answered in real-time, discover new tech and hear stories that inspire. This group is a place for technology professionals who wouldn’t normally cross paths to meet, collaborate and learn about what their peers are doing across the city.

Austin Knight, Senior UX Designer, Hubspot
Austin Knight is a Senior UX Designer, speaker, and author based out of Boston and Rio de Janeiro. He currently oversees the UX for HubSpot.com, INBOUND.com, the HubSpot Blog, and a range of additional front-end web properties and tools, which are used by more than 8 million visitors per month. Previously, he’s worked with teams large and small, in organizations ranging from startups to public tech companies. He serves as a UX and IxD mentor at Columbia University and General Assembly, speaks internationally on the topic of UX, co-hosts the UX and Growth Podcast, and runs a popular blog and newsletter at AustinKnight.com.
C. Todd Lombardo, Chief Design Strategist, Fresh Tilled Soil
Data nerd, design geek, and product fanatic best describes C. Todd Lombardo. After beginning his career in science, he shifted his focus to product and design, ultimately innovating, designing, and managing products for countless companies large and small. In his role as Chief Design Strategist at Fresh Tilled Soil, he employs strategic design to craft impactful solutions that radically transform clients’ product strategies. He is on the Adjunct Faculty at IE business School in Madrid, and co-authored the “Design Sprint” book published by O’Reilly.
Jon Friedman, President & Co-Founder\, Freight Farms
Jon Friedman is the President and co-founder of Freight Farms, a company that provides physical and digital solutions for creating local produce ecosystems on a global scale. Jon and his co-founder developed the company's flagship product, the Leafy Green Machine, to allow any business to grow a high-volume of fresh produce in any environment regardless of the climate. Prior to Freight Farms, he was the lead industrial designer at life sciences company Merck Millipore, and has designed products for Procter & Gamble and Unilever Jon studied industrial design at Massachusetts College of Art and Design and is an alumni of startup accelerators MassChallenge and TechStars. Jonathan Lacoste, Co-Founder & President, Jebbit
Jonathan Lacoste is an award-winning entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and President of Jebbit, a digital software company he founded as an undergraduate student in 2011. Since launching the company, Jonathan was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and the MassTLC Emerging Executive of the Year. Jonathan writes The CMO Corner for Inc. Magazine, sharing marketing trends and tips from CMOs across all industries. In his spare time, he runs marathons, having completed 13 to date.
