As researchers and designers, we're always looking to build the right product for our users. That's hard to do when we're brought into the process late (especially after key decisions have been made!) or when every other team has a different set of priorities. In this talk we'll focus on how to build a long term relationship with leadership across the business to maximize the impact and benefit design can have.
You'll learn:
- How to use the skills you already have as a designer to learn more about your colleagues and their priorities.
- What gets covered during executive team and board meetings.
- When to push for impact, and when waiting will help you build more influence.
